Hi, Paul. Our colleague Thomas Monaghan is right. You don't need a credit card to bid on eBay, though you do have to register and provide an e-mail account and some other info. (You do need a card to open an account for *selling* on eBay.) So, if you have access to the Web (which it seems you do?), you should be able to play on eBay.Those Greggs are up as Reserve Price auctions, which means there's a concealed minimum bid. And no one has broken through that minimum yet, so we have no idea how much the seller is after. If you really can't/won't deal with eBay, I'd be willing to bid for you. Contact me directly if you want to discuss further. No credit card, eh? I manage to live without a television machine (hence vociferous reading). But I don't know how I'd survive without the convenience of credit cards.
