: Hi. When I was at secondary school in the early 80s I read and read this fantastic book that I'm trying to track down. Can't remember the title but it was about a man that was an outcast in his (futuristic) world, got tried for being a 'heretic' mid way through the book only to discover that he was deliberately conned into thinking he was an outcast by the powers that be, to prepare him for an important role. Can't remember the title at all but I'm sure it was a Norton book. Does anyone know the book I mean???This sounds a bit like _Dare To Go A'Hunting_. Does the young man in question have any sort of memory loss? Good luck! If nothing else, everyone has given you some wonderful places to search. Jerrie
