Do you know, if I were reading these posts and hadn't written the first message, I would have to wonder if it was really an Andre Norton book my faulty memory is trying to recall. Cause y'all are lots more familiar with the stories than I am, and none of you have any idea what I'm talking about. Don't misunderstand, I still *believe* it was Norton who wrote it, but logically one has to consider the possibility. . .Though maybe that's what all of you are thinking, and are just too polite to say so.
