Of course I still like to read books in the order they were written. However, I've never found the problem in Andre Norton books that I do with some other authors.

No revisionist history in the Witch World. You won't come back to find the name of a character changed, or a new set of mountains appearing in the middle of a landscape, just because the new story needs them.

Of course, in the Witch World characters do change, grow up or are 'transformed'. Was it Uta that was a cat? Keplians can have Red or Blue eyes and, of course, Witches can make mountains move.

Sometimes I just work my way through the entire series - but I "always" start with WITCH WORLD and YEAR OF THE UNICORN.
