: : So THAT'S why I can't find a paperback "...Warriors"! [...] I should quit the search, buy one of those, and build a bookcase for 'other than' paperbacks, huh?: Hi Jack, : I, too, spent a long time looking for SK&WW in pb. It was listed, ISBN and all, in the bibliography I'd been using for many years. Then I bought a copy of the Schlobin & Harrison bibliography, and found it denounced as a phantom. : But watch out. You're about to descend a slippery slope. I used to just buy Andre Norton in paperback, but then a few hardcovers slipped in. They looked odd, shelved with all those paperbacks. Moved them to another bookcase, and they looked lonely. So, I decided to find them some company. Many, many dollars later, they have a lot of friends. But perfectly fine books by a number of other authors are now relegated to piles and boxes. NO KIDDING ! NOW YOU TELL US! Lots and lots of boxes. Don't forget that part! This slippery slope is at a sixty-five degree angle in avalanche country! The phenomenon you relate is very common among those who love books. And the problem is compounded by the fact that Some of the Lady's books have never seen a Hardcover printing while others have never had a softcover edition. Loved your message, Tom. Couldn't resist playing with it.--Later--Paul
