"Long time, no see!" is the best description of my presence at The Message Board. I wonder how many of you still remeber me? I was busy studying, but now that my exams are over, I'll try to provide with some news.

First of all the sequels to the Halfblood Chronicles - there have been many questions about that. They are indeed written by Misty Lackey - Ms. Norton only collaborates on the storyline. In fact "being written" was a bit of an exaggeration until about March this year. Apparently Misty was busy with other books and was "stuck" - out of ideas for the book. Hence the manuscript just lay there patiently waiting for its time.
Now, I know that Ms. Lackey visited the Lady a few months ago (about March, as far as I remember) for a few days and had a serious talk about the books - exchanging ideas, etc. My (and the Lady's) friend, Caroline, was there (oh how I envied her) and said the matter resolved quite successfully, as Misty left with quite a few ideas and optimistic about the work.

As for other news, very fresh this one (few day old actually), the Lady has finally finished her work on the "Day of the Rat" (sequel of the "Mark of the Cat"). A year or so and you'll have it on your bookshelf!
