: Good Golly! I've already bought three books. I'm not sure I need to know about this.Egads. Now I'm afraid you're going to snatch up all the good books I've been too cheap to buy. Similar to ABE is www.bibliofind.com And then there's www.bookfinder.com which is a union search engine that includes ABE, Bibliofind, and a number of other sources. One of these sources is Alibris. They are a mediated listing service (all books ship through them), and they add like 30% or 40% to a dealer's price. So, a book that appears there may also be directly listed by the dealer in one of the other sources, for considerably less. On the other hand, sometimes a book will only be listed with Alibris, and they do have an independent stock. In fact, one of my best finds was from Alibris. A swell 3rd printing of Bertie and May (with some small closed tears at head of dj) for just $8. So, I get a minor gloat in. Though there's no beating Ed McLuckie's stories.
