: : Dear Irene : : Nicholas Stuart Gray is a favorite of mine and I have gone carefully through all my copies to see if The Star Beast is listed as a title by him. It is not and long, long ago, I wrote Schlobin to the effect that I believed the bibliographic entry for it to be in error. I have all of Gray's titles including the Play Acting editions so I am fairly confident in this matter. For the record, Andre told me when I visited at her home in Florida that Gray was among her favorite authors. Cats are a frequent subject for Gray so this is understandable. : : Richard Frahm: I was afraid of that. I guess another item moves from the wanted page onto the Phantom's page. : Thanks to Richard for this one....Well I can stop checking the web for this one. : However, there might be a Hawthorn's House of the Seven Gables Pap from the same period...... : Irene Yes, Irene, there is a paperback of House with a Norton introduction. I thought you knew that. I posted a note about it a while back. Same publisher as (I think) the paperback of Verne's Journey To The Center of the Earth with the Norton Intro. If you are in need, I can send you the particulars(numbers and such) Later--Paul ps. Michael, if there is a blank message, it came from accidentally bumping the wrong button and hastily trying to correct it.
