We have recruited a fair number of moderators, some with experience on other forums, and I think we have enough people that we can move forward. We'll still be looking for moderators, and you'll know which forums are still in need of a moderator.

One of the new forums I've created is a FEEDBACK forum. I invite everyone to share their thoughts there once they've been able to look around. It's important that we know how our user community is handling the changeover. Email will also be welcomed, but those of you who wish to preserve your anonymity will be able to do so. Until such time as anonymous posting becomes too abusive to cope with, we will permit it. And we've been very fortunate through the years with these boards.

When the new forums go active, they will be using an IP address, not a domain name. We won't be able to use a domain name until we move all of Xenite.Org to the new server. This should make no difference for anyone. We don't anticipate any significant problems in making the transition.

In a couple more days, this message board will be replaced by a Web page with the new forum address.

Thank you all for your encouragement and support through the years as Xenite.Org has grown, and for your patience in staying with us over the past few months as we've experienced growing pains, particularly with the message boards.
