None of the bookstores around here carry a lot of his stuff, so I figured I'd cut out the middleman and order direct.Has anyone ever done this before? I mean order direct from Arkham House...? I live near Chicago, so I could probably DRIVE up to Sauk City, WI and get them personally!!: I'm tired of my old DelRey Paperbacks so I decided to trade up to the hardbacks. I remember checking out many collections from my local library. The old ones all had really psychedelic covers .... Sorry to seem like a giant Amazon spokesman, but I noticed yesterday when I was doing a link to the Joshi book that Amazon has an auction section and there were 1st edition HPL books going for around $50 - and a bargain at that price. I have a good rare book store near me and I've seen an original issue of Astounding with a portion of "At the Mountains of Madness" for $250. I would need to buy a display case if I had something that cool in my posession.
