OK, this message is a quick "kick my own butt" posting. At Dragon Con this year in Atlanta, one of the guests was a guy named Julius Schwartz. I kept seeing him walking around the con, and wondered who he was. He was at one of the Batman retrospectives, and I had the opportunity to talk to him several times but didn't take the time since I had no idea who he was or why he was at the con. I just figured he had something to do with comics. (And boy, he did!) But about a week after the con, I was looking at my annotated HPL book, and noticed that Lovecraft had used an agent to get this story sold. A young agent named "Julius Schwartz." Yes, I am an idiot.
