AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! I think I need a latte'! Of course it was the "Gaffer" not Sam Gamgee at *The Ivy Bush*. Geez, I hope I'll get something right eventually! ;-)

: I believe you're correct. Quite an oversight on my part. I believe Ted Sandyman is first introduced while dicussing events of the Shire with a small gathering including Samwise Hamfast at *The Ivy Bush* in "The Fellowship of the Ring."
