: I was wondering, since Valinor was removed from the circle of the world after the fall of Nùmenor did Ulmo stay in the seas he loved in Middle-earth or did he go to Valinor? If he went to Valinor was it by choice or by command of Eru? Plus could it be he was allowed to go back in forth between them(Middle-earth and Valinor) at will?

: Interested to see your opinions.

: Thanks

Looking from what you could call a philosophical viewpoint, are not all the Valar still present? their singing created Eä, and they are thus all part of it IE still present.
Whether present in physical form I would say that they at least have the power to be if they wish it so; the Istari and possibly Glorfindel "returned" from Aman. They also seem to be still watching (as in Michael's comment), but I am also stricken by the many "lucky" / "happy" encounters between the champions of good (the one that Mithrandir himself calls by that name- and hints at something more than luck- is his meeting Thorin Oakenshield, U.T.), could it be that some Valar are still pulling unseen strings to steer those events or have these things been preconditioned to happen from the beginning of time, perhaps only if certain preconditions were met???? Getting far afield better go back to studies, hoped to have started some strings of thoughts.
