Patrick Stewart would be fabulous in just about any role, wouldn't he? (BTW, I did see that Moby Dick miniseries, at least the first half, and he was great in it...much of the rest of the cast was less than spectacular, though, especially the guy who played Ishmael...)

If you've seen Michael's "Rumor Roundup," it says that Gellar was apparently in consideration for the role of Eowyn, but it looks now like she won't be in the film. I won't say anything about the casting, though, because I've never seen her act (although a "Buffy the Witch-king Slayer" joke may be in order...

Actually, I know of a certain unknown actress who could play Eowyn... ;-)
