The BBC adaptation did a wonderful job in all respects; I really think Jackson should listen to it and glean ideas from it. Incidentally, the BBC production is available on CD through the British Tolkien Society. They are fantastic, and well worth the price. I pop them into my car's cd player on long road trips... Do you know how I can contact the British Tolkien Society? I'd like to hear this production (which I haven't listened to hundreds of times) Thanks!
