I am back after a long vacation, several viking markets (the greatest on Iceland, I love that place) and some stressing exams and greet you all with some questions I would like to have your view upon; First, In Book of lost Tales there is mention of a proto-gobin race known as Gond, what were they- I know what the Book says, I would just like you opinions on the subject.
Secondly and related, we hear of Kaukareldar or false-faires (I think it is in the same book, but possibly in one of the later ones, we know that they can walk among men and Elves to spread dissent, but what are they? They are called a creation of Mogoth, but we know that only Eru can create. Your opinion please
And, lastly; what is Thû (A.K.A. Tûvo), he is mentioned both in "Lays" and in either book eleven or twelve (I am somewhat hampered by not having my internet access at home) Is it merely another name for Sauron, or is it another mighty spirit of evil?? possibly the same or of the same sort as the one known as Fangkil (or Fulik or another name that I do not remember out of hand?
If you are really kind, send me an E-mail in addition to your posting please, on Hispr@stud.hum.aau.dk I will appreciate any thoughts, and use my interpretation of the results in a Roleplaying campaign module concerning Fourth Age Arnor that will be spread among my friends (as it violates certain ICE copyrights). Thanks
