: I am fifteen years old, picked up The Hobbit for the first time when I was twelve (although I finished the entire series a few months ago), and live in San Antonio. How old are you guys, when did you first read LotR, and where dost thou hail from?: BTW, my tiny, tiny complaint is as of this writing, me and The White Rider have accounted for exactly 100% of new posts for the last two days. Middle-Earth is it's own world. Let the ideas, thoughts, and questions spawn!!! Well, I am the hitherto oldest replyer to this posting, and the one furthest away. I am 28 years old and Danish, living in Aarhus, where I study history at the University, thus, I too must ask forgiveness for my occasional glitch in language, first of all; I am Danish, secondly; I speak british, not American (and I am rather proud of it). Anyway, the reason for the absence of Neithan postings (my real name is Palle, but I like Turin and had been wronged when I first discovered this site) is the fact that they vary according to how much time I have, and my acces to the University computers, I cannot afford an internet connection where I live. I must also admit to a certain arrogance and liking for my own scholary words and thus makes rather many postings and replies in long and elaborate detail- that is, when I have the time, i think that is a general weakness of students of the Humanist sciences.
