I am 15 and live in a small town (pop. 300, mostly farmers) in Vermont, USA. I received LOTR as a Christmas present last year and finished it by New Years. It is by far my favorite story. Every time I read it I discover something different that I overlooked before. Also, I feel as if I can relate to certain characters in the books. Living out here in cow-country all your life certainly makes a person want to go searching for 'Elves and Dragons'.
