I (he said tentitively) am a role-player. The only reason I hesitate is that I have known in the past, Tolkien fans to be very dubious about role-players - particularly ones who role-play in Middle Earth!Ag hell! Who cares! Yep I role-play. Have done ever since 1982, after I used to watch my father role-play with his friends. My first RPG was (inveitably) AD&D, but I quickly graduated to Chivalry and Sorcery (which gave a lot of credit to Tolkien's works) and Rolemaster (including MERP), which I do almost exclusively in Middle Earth. I've been doing it for (ouch) 16 years now (pops has been at it since the original D&D came out - 74 I believe), I play and GM and although I do get sidetracked down certain Sci-fi paths, my fav world to RP in has to be Middle Earth!
