I think I agree with most of the discussion on this one. The emblem/flag of Arnor was basically the Standard broken out by Elessar as he sailed up the Anduin.

Although, strictly speaking, the true emblem of Arnor (the symbol of office of the High King) was the Sceptre of Annuminas.
