Eöl was forced to give Anglachel to Thingol who in turn gave it to Beleg, then to Túrin and I believe it was layed to rest with him. But of Eöl's sword Anguirel nothing said. What ever happened to this mighty blade? Does anybody know?: Jon The shards of Anglachel/Gurthang were buried with Turin, and the mound remained above water as Tol Morwen after the drowning of Beleiarand. No idea as to Anguirel though, but I wonder myself...
