: : Der..... : Tuor : Read 'Of Tuor and His Coming to Gondolin' in Unfinished Tales, especially when Tuor comes to Vinyamar. I think it is some of Tolkien's best writing. :I think so too, I was especially surprised to learn that Turin son of Hurin brother to Huor father of Tuor never met his cousin,in fact in Of Tuor and his Coming to Gondolin Tuor and his elf-friend see Turin running through the woods to get to his love, they never even knew who each other were.
