I heard from someone who claims he has a girlfriend who works with the casting for New Line told me this today. He said these people would be in the movie- "Colin Firth - Boromir
Charles Dance - Saruman
Ewan McGregor - Legolas
Dudley Moore - Bilbo
And, the one you have all been waiting for...
Christopher Lee - Gandalf Sean Connery will be involved in a smaller part - possibly the voice of Treebeard but that isn't certain.
