: Well, Galadriel wasn't actually a queen, but she may as well : have been. She was certainly the oldest of the Royla House of : the Noldor left alive on Middle Earth, but she never took the : title of Queen.Actually, she WAS a queen by the end of the Third Age. Her title is just not used very often. : Then there was Nimloth, the bride of Amroth, the King of : Lorien, before he died and Galadrial and Celeborn took over the :leadership. I think Legolas mentions her when the : company approach Lorien, but its real late and I'm not gonna : look it up now.
Nimloth is one of the names recorded for the wife of Dior Thingol' Heir (in fact, that's the name used in THE SILMARILLION). Nimrodel was the Elven-woman loved by Amroth. I don't believe they were married, however. I think she said she would marry him when they found a land where their people would not be threatened. That was what started the whole migration of the Silvan Elves. : Arwen became a Queen, so if its a Queen your lookin for, then I : guess that would be Arwen. She was in fact called a Queen of Elves and Men in some places.
