I'm a little confused about what you're talking about. Have you ever read the Silmarillion? In it, it clearly states that Morgoth is another name for Melkor, it was given to him by Fëanor. I forget the translation, but it means something like hated-one. Morgoth and Melkor are the same personSecondly, have you ever read the story of Túrin. It can be found in Unfinished Tales and the Silmarillion. If you've read it, you have to acknowledge that Túrin's entire life was ruined in every way by Morgoth/Melkor. ABOSOLUTELY NO ONE, HAS SUFFERED MORE FROM MORGOTH THAN TURIN AND HIS FAMILY. This is a guy who unknowingly married his sister, lived through his other sisters death, had his father tortured by Morgoth (he was forced to watch his family's tragic life from a top tower), mistakenly killed his best friend (Beleg), was forced from his home(Dor Lómin) and then due to trouble was forced to leave his adoptive land (Doríath), and in the end he finds he has married his sister and she mistakenly kills herself, thinking he's dead, so he follows suit, throwing himself on hte Black Sword, Gurthang. TURIN WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE WITHOUT A DOUBT Jon
