: : Men separated forever? : Tolkien never says. Some Men (and Elves) hoped that all the Free Peoples would be reunited, perhaps, in a new world. Galadriel's words to Treebeard seem to suggest that. But the ultimate Fate of the Children of Iluvatar (and of the Ents and Eagles) is unknown.
And that's what keeps these books interesting, every time you read them you discover something new!
By the way, who knowes what happened Tom Bombadil after the third era??
