A friend of mine mailed me the book. I've only just started, but I kinda like it.
Maybe that has something to do with the way that I read it. You should see this novel as 'fan-fiction'. Not as something that claims to be an addition to Tolkiens' work (it doesn't)

Surely a lot of facts and details don't fit, but I think it is nice to read about other peoples' visions on middle Earth.
And I think the story is written better than I would ever be able to - at least in English.

I am reading 9 books at the same time, most of it study-related, so you understand this novel is last on the list of urgencies. (not to mntion that I mostly read while in bed, which is pretty hard with a on-screen book)
Therefore it will probably take an awfull lot of time to finish it.
