I don t know if you are interested in my opinion, but here it is. I think Michael has right all the way, and I don t think about it as an English tale. The first time I read it was in Swedish as an example. I shouldn t matter if it is written in Spannish, English or whatever. I do agree to the point that the characters ARE speaking Westroon, Quenya etc, not English.
