No person can tell another how to vote so you're on your own there.
I share your apprehension concerning the upcoming movies, but I am encouraged by the interviews Mr. Jackson gave a few months back and the visual concepts on the NewLine Cinema site. I'll include those Links in case you aren't familiar with them. http://www.lordoftherings.net/main.html
When you get to theis site click on "concepts" then each of 9 "bullets" for the different pictures. If the pictures appear like brown sketches click directly on them and they will load the full color jpeg.
I hope you leave the sites a bit less discouraged.Tolk
