: Hello people, I've got a little question on two things Glorfindel says. : First: When Frodo, Strider and the other three are fleeing to Rivendel at one point they meet Glorfindel. When Glorfindel sees Aragorn he shouts something (I haven't got a copy of LOTR with me so I don't know the precise words). : Second: After that when the Nazgul catch up with them Glorfindel shouts something to his horse Asfaloth. : If someone could give me the meaning of these two things he says I'd be really gratefull. : greetz, : Lockdar The first has "Vedui" in it? If so it means something along the lines: "At last Dunadan - well met!"
