: : Hello people, I've got a little question on two things Glorfindel says.

: : First: When Frodo, Strider and the other three are fleeing to Rivendel at one point they meet Glorfindel. When Glorfindel sees Aragorn he shouts something (I haven't got a copy of LOTR with me so I don't know the precise words).
: : Second: After that when the Nazgul catch up with them Glorfindel shouts something to his horse Asfaloth.

: : If someone could give me the meaning of these two things he says I'd be really gratefull.

: : greetz,

: : Lockdar

: The first has "Vedui" in it?

: If so it means something along the lines:

: "At last Dunadan - well met!"

Yes that's the one I mean thanx Martin. Perhaps you also know the second one?? The words that Glorfindel shouts to Asfaloth when Frodo has flee to the river with the Nazgul chasing him and trying to cut him off?
If not, still thanx for the information! :)

greetz,
Lockdar
