Gondor). You have posted a little bit below in the Gildor Inglorion thread. I would be interested in your more detailed thoughts on the subject.

I'll attempt to knock my ideas into some sort of shape and post them here ASAP.
Most of the evidence for a form of feudal structure in Gondor is non-specific, as Michael says there is no mention of formal enfiefment or vassalage in LOTR, but taken as a whole the indications point to a semi-feudal nature.
