If I just got the names mixed up, forgive me & ignore this post.
Isn't Anduril the reforged Narsil? If so, why would it be higher on your list than Narsil? In terms of deeds of renown, didn't Narsil vanquish Sauron once (or did it just cut off the ring after being broken? I forget.)? Anduril was weilded by Elessar the king, certainly; but what data is there to show its power? I would have put Narsil above it, that's all. And though Merry's sword was nameless, I would have put it somewhere near the middle of the list.-Steve S. : Yep I should have included Sting and The One Ring.
