This is not really related to any previous conversations, which seem to be mostly thematic rather than bibliographic in nature, but:

Can anybody provide a description or, better yet, pictures of the first American ed. of the Fellowship of the Ring? I know Wayne Hammond's Descriptive Bibliography is probably what I need, but I can't get hold of a copy right now...
