The movies are NOT British! They are being made by a New Zealander with American money. They are based on a book written by a Brit. Based on that logic, 1/3 of the cast should be American, 1/3 should be British, and 1/3 should be New Zealander. Of course, casting on that logic is inane; I'm just trying to give a concrete reasoning for why the cast should NOT be entirtely British/European/non-American.Do you know Viggo's work? Do you object to him as an actor, or just because he is American? If it is the latter, then I must tell you that we Americans have a word for that: it's called "bigotry". Besides, Townsend IS NOT BRITISH!!! He is Irish. Of course, everyone knows that American actors are terrible. That's why American movies are so astoundingly unpopular in foreign countries.
