: What I think would be neat is if they did the Hobbit as a sort of Narrative for Bilbo. Say at THE COUNCIL OF ELROUND when he tells his part of the "History of the Ring". That would be hard and kind of neat.

Then again, the story of Bilbo and the Ring could be told by Gandalf to the hobbits during their stay in Gondor prior to their return to the Shire. ~Aelmer
