: I've read all of the Narnia books except Silver Chair and the Last Battle, The Hobbit and most of the first book in LOTR. I'm not sure if this qualifies me as a "newbie" 'cuz I just discovered this site I mean how much of an expert do you have to be? Do you have to have read a certain # of these books before your opinions are taken seriously. However I love these books and would love to participate in your discussions so I hope you'll give me a chance...Of course newbies are welcome, especially if they are fat and tasty and have no fear of dragons :-)
