: Ain't It Cool News has some very good pix of the Hobbiton set for the film. Use link below. The pictures look very nice indeed. Some think the Hobbit Holes are a bit too quaint, but I like them.

The holes themselves look excellent. They are cosy, homely, hobbitish in fact, but the landscape... This looks rather rough to me (like foothills of mountains), wheras the Shire had gentle rolling hills. Tolkien himself once likened the Shire to the Warwickshire countryside. This doesn't look much like Warwickshire to me.

or am I being too tough here?
