: Just one question: Does anybody know how PJ plans to get rid of the beloved Lord of the Nazgul? If it hasn't been made clear, do you think they'll just leave that out completely, letting the Witch King fall along with the rest of the Nine, or do you you think he'll do something really stupid like, say, letting Gandalf take him out?

The obvious place to get rid of Witch King is at the gates of Minas Tirith. It's point of high drama, if that scene is in the movie. Of course, they could have Faramir take on the Witch King, and just when things look bad Eowyn comes to the rescue. Then again, Arwen (in her expanded role) confronts the Witch King and does him in. Come to think of it, Legolas could take out the WK. Legolas and Arwen are elves afterall, and not men.Maybe Legolas's sword is not a mortal blade, or Arwen has a special arrow? Merry and Pippin sneak up on the WK and.... Arrrrrrrrrrg! No More! No More! My brain is going to explode!

: There are so many implications to this, if you think about it, I mean, that scene is Merry's crowning glory aswell. What are they going to do about the Faramir/Eowyn scenes in The Houses of Healing?

: BTW - I agree with you totally. It is one of the best scenes in LotR and they do it wrong they could really bugger it up. Yet, IMO, I think it can be done well if they just put a little damn thought into it!
