First, I am not connected with this in any way, shape or means. I found it while surfing the LOTR/Me listings on eBay.A first edition(?) of LOTR is up for auction. The lengthy description states that it is first and second impressions of the British first edition. There are also some scans/pics of the books,dust covers etc. It looks like it might be a first edition, but I have no knowlege of what a British first edition should look like. Those of you who do know,please check this out. If it is real, you might want to go for it. If it's sham, you might prevent someone from being ripped off.
