Well, first of all there was more thanone Barrow-Wight.

There are different theories on the Barrow-Wights. I'll list as many as I know, and you san choose which one you like.


  • The Wights were spirits of the evil men of Angmar.
  • The Wights were created by the Witch-King.
  • The Wights were minor evil spirits (or Gul).
