Itīs like there has been no progress on earth since the days of ancient egypt or so !??: Here's my theory: when the Lord of Evil is trying to destroy you, you don't have time to develop technology, only to defend yourself. Nice theory, but probably not correct. Wars, as a general rule, hasten development of new technology. Hence the development and use of jet aircraft and V-2 Rockets by the Germans toward the end of World War II.
