Well, I have to admit, here I was hoping for a good controversy, and now it seems LucasFilm may be pulling the wind out of my sales. :)

They deny what was reported in Variety about the new characterizations (I thought it all sounded hokey, but I guess I have to say I fell for it). See the link below to read Lynne Hale's response on behalf of LucasFilm.
