Once again, PJ has already done sizable work on the movie. New Line cinema has approved the script, shooting began some time ago on ALL THREE MOVIES. As we all know, filming is not done in chonological order, but instead is based fiscal considerations, thus, a petition is not only an exercise in futility, but, based on the fact that the movie is, as we are all aware, a translation of the book. I focus on the fact that it is a translation of the book. Much like Ralph Bakshi's interpretation (which some consider poor and others a work of genuis) is just that. Parts were cut, lines were changed, characters were moved or deleted to suit the director's "artistic vision", things were even added in order to aid transition, story or the director's own ego. I, for one, will sit quietly, and relax, end enjoy the movie for what it is: an interpretation of one of my favorite author's work.
