: Okay, here it is: if anyone in the fellowship should have blond hair, it should not be Legolas, but Gimli.

: Of all the members of Thorin & Co. only two of them that were mentioned as having hair that hadn't turned gray or sky-blue with age were Fili and Kili, who weree both blond. Thus, if we can hold the Longbeards to all share a certain hair color (as did the Firebeards and Blacklocks), we can assume that all Longbeards were blond.

of all the dumbass ideas to go and send the ring to mount doom with a couple of pint sized beer obsessed overweight half sized
cretins.

why why why why didnt gandalf as pure of heart as he was why didnt he just take the ring !!!!!!!!! and dont give me all that 'whoever holds the ring will turn to evil ' stuff as it doesnt wash. the elven rings where not wholly tarnished by the creation of the one ring and all that they did didnt have to fade.

it is a beutifully written book and i insist everyone should fall deeply in love with the whole of middle earth

any e-mails will be responded to as i am mad about tolkien !!!!
