1) Can anyone confirm/add to/correct the following list of the wanderings of Celeborn and Galadriel (taken from Unfinished Tales)?- SA 1: Harlindon
- SA ?: Lake Nenuial
- c. SA 700: Eregion
- c. SA 1375: Lórinand
- c. SA 1700: Dol Amroth
- TA 1981: Lórien 2) Why did they leave Harlindon anyway? It was their fiefdom under Gil-galad who was Galadriel's second cousin (or 'aunt' according to a more Mediterranean definition). It remains a mystery, at least to me, as to why they would want to leave. The area was pretty much isolated from the vicissitudes of ME (I am not sure whether Sauron reached Harlindon in his SA invasion of Eriador). They abandoned this peaceful land to establish an oasis of ancient Elfdom on the doorstep of a Balrog? It makes no sense. Cheers
