: I just had a chance to see the April 2000 issue of VANITY FAIR magazine.

I saw it too. My only complaint is that they didn't look like they were acting very hobbit-like.

Also the pony in the background looked more like a horse.

: They had a picture of the actors playing the Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin _in character_. Only one problem though: they look a bit younger than I imagined when I read the books--they remind me of humans in their 20's. I was hoping for a more "mature" look I had envisioned originally.
