Harper Collins has rereleased _The Monsters and the Critics and Other Essays_, a collection of JRRT's semi-scholerly non-fiction. I say semi-schplarly because, as the forward states, all of these were originally presented as lectures to a non-specialist, though geneally academic, audience.
