I believe it was about as far east from the Misty Mountains as the Misty were from the Blue; looking at Fonstad's Atlas (which I know to not always be an accurate source), I figure it would be the Iron Hills and the mountains near the Sea of Rhun, or an unmapped range to the South. What do y'all think?Actually, Durin awoke under Mount Gundabad. However, I think your assertion is probably right, mountains by the sea of Rhun would be my guess..... Certainly not the Mordorian mountains which of course did not exist at that time....
