: : rest of the scene.: True, but you're pretty much in agreement with the frame analysis posted at TheOneRing.Net, and I think you're both right. It looks like knife/sword work to me.
By the way, I was relieved to see him look like a warrior, I was afraid he would look like some slender, girlish-like figure to be honest...
